28ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ إِنَّ مَثَلَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ مَثَلُ أَصْحَابِ الْكَهْفِ أَسَرُّوا الايمَانَ وَأَظْهَرُوا الشِّرْكَ فَ‏آتَاهُمُ الله أَجْرَهُمْ مَرَّتَيْنِ.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

28. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abu ‘Umayr from Hisham ibn Salim from Abu ‘Abdallah عليه السلام who has said the following: “The case of Abu Talib is like the case of the people of the cave who hid their faith and expressed polytheism. Allah gave them twice as much reward.”
