12ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُرَازِمٍ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِنَّ رَجُلاً أَتَى رَسُولَ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ الله إِنِّي جَعَلْتُ ثُلُثَ صَلَوَاتِي لَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ خَيْراً فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ الله إِنِّي جَعَلْتُ نِصْفَ صَلَوَاتِي لَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ذَاكَ أَفْضَلُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي جَعَلْتُ كُلَّ صَلَوَاتِي لَكَ فَقَالَ إِذاً يَكْفِيَكَ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَا أَهَمَّكَ مِنْ أَمْرِ دُنْيَاكَ وَآخِرَتِكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ أَصْلَحَكَ الله كَيْفَ يَجْعَلُ صَلاتَهُ لَهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لا يَسْأَلُ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ شَيْئاً إِلا بَدَأَ بِالصَّلاةِ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه).

ENGLISH TRANSLATION
12. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Murazim who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام has said, ‘Once a man came to the Messenger of Allah and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I have assigned one third of my prayers for you.” The Messenger of Allah said, ‘That is good.’ He then said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have assigned half of my prayers for you.’ The Messenger of Allah said, ‘That is better.’ He then said, ‘O the Messenger of Allah, I have assigned all of my prayers for you.’ The Messenger of Allah said, ‘Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, will suffice you in all your needs in this world and in the next life.’ A man then asked, ‘May Allah grant you well being, how could he assign his prayer for him?’ Abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام said, ‘He would never pray and plead before Allah, the Majestic, the Glorious, for help before asking from Allah favors for the Holy Prophet and his family.””
