8ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُذَافِرٍ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) فَسَأَلَهُ أَبِي عَنْ تَسْبِيحِ فَاطِمَةَ (صلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فَقَالَ الله أَكْبَرُ حَتَّى أَحْصَاهَا أَرْبَعاً وَثَلاَثِينَ مَرَّةً ثُمَّ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لله حَتَّى بَلَغَ سَبْعاً وَسِتِّينَ ثُمَّ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ الله حَتَّى بَلَغَ مِائَةً يُحْصِيهَا بِيَدِهِ جُمْلَةً وَاحِدَةً.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION

8. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad ibn ‘Adhafir who has said the following: “Once my father and I went to see abu ‘Abd Allah عليه السلام , and my father asked him about Tasbih of Fatimah al-Zahra’, ‘Alayha al-Salam. The Imam said, ‘Allahu Akbar’ thirty four times. Then he said, ‘Al-Hamdu Li Allah’ up to sixty-seven. He then said, ‘Subhana Allah’ up to one hundred. He was counting all of them with his hand in one successive order to one hundred.”
